Aluminium Foil Winding Process

For the low-voltage windings of our Solar Inverter Duty Transformers, we utilize high-conductivity aluminium foil winding technology, offering several performance and reliability benefits. This manufacturing process includes :

  • Continuous Foil Layering : Precision-guided machines layer aluminium foil and insulating paper alternately, ensuring uniform electrical stress distribution and tight coil geometry.
  • High Pressure Bonding : Windings are subjected to controlled pressure to eliminate air gaps, improving mechanical strength and impulse voltage withstand capability.
  • Automated Edge Welding : The aluminium foil edges are TIG welded or cold pressure welded, ensuring robust electrical continuity and long-term durability.
  • Enhanced Short-Circuit Strength : Flat conductor profile increases surface area for better cooling, which is critical in solar inverter operations.
  • Corrosion Resistance : Treated aluminium materials resist oxidation, even in high-humidity or coastal installations.
